The United States is set to host its first-ever International Cricket Council tournament, the 2024 Men's T20 World Cup, with matches in New York, Dallas, and Lauderhill, Florida
The tournament, featuring 20 teams and 55 matches, will take place from June 1 to 29. T20 cricket is a shorter format of the game, lasting about 3 hours and 20 minutes per match.
Before the game begins, a toss is conducted between the captains, and the team that wins the toss decides whether to bat first or field first.

In cricket, a wicket consists of three stumps and two bails behind the batsmen. The pitch has two wickets at opposite ends, with two batsmen on the field at the same time, one at each wicket. The term "wicket" also refers to a batsman's dismissal by a bowler or fielder hitting the stumps with the ball.
WICKET
A team scores a six when the ball lands outside the boundary without bouncing inside the ground.

A team scores four runs when the ball crosses the boundary after bouncing at least once inside the field.

An "over" in cricket consists of six deliveries or balls bowled from one end of the pitch to the batsman at the other end. In the T20 format, each team bowls 20 overs, totaling 120 deliveries.

A batsman is considered "out" in cricket if a bowler hits the stumps behind him or if a fielder catches the ball before it touches the ground. In simpler terms, "out" means a batsman has been dismissed while playing.
